without ruining any of the twist, all i can say is, at the very least everyone who watched this movie was confused as to what/why this was happening. We then get too see a very provocative dance with a snake by Selma Sayek. With just less than an hour left too the film, we take a very unexpected turn of events, when the brothers as well as the 3 people they kidnapped, played by Harvey Keitel, Juliette Lewis and Ernest Lie, end up at the bar called ‘The Titty Twister’, where in the morning they will meet Carlos, who will then take them to sanctuary. Although, the whole film is very intriguing, with the murders, kidnapping, slight humor between the characters as well as seeing how Richie’s problems are causing strain between the two brothers and putting doubts in Seth’s mind about how sane is brother actually is. There is no real explanation for why Richie is seeing and hearing things which aren’t there. The story was great, but not always perfectly understood. Tarantino played slightly deranged and unsettled Richie, resourcefully, his physical appearance played perfectly into the characters persona, which i believe made him perfect for the role. Both Clooney and Tarantino executed their roles brilliantly, Seth was smart, charismatic and a criminal who knew what he was doing was wrong, but simply didn’t care as its what he was good at. The story was originally told in 1996 by Robert Rodriguez (sin city) and was supposed to be directed by Quentin Tarantino (Pulp fiction) but he pulled out of the directors chair, to focus on his role as Richie. The film stared George Clooney as Seth gecko and Quentin Tarantino as Richie gecko. But obviously it’s not that easy and everything goes wrong along the way, resulting in the death of Texas rangers and cops, a bank teller, a kidnapping and strangely a shit tonne of, well I don’t know what you’d call them. Seth has been broken out of prison and has devised a plan for him and his brother too pull off one last heist, in which they will leave with $30 million, head down to mexico, cross the boarder, meet Carlos, a dude who, for a fee, will provide safety and then the two brothers will live happily, sunning it up on somewhere in mexico. So if you have Netflix streaming, now is the time to use it.From Dusk Till Dawn is the story of the infamous Gecko brothers, Seth and Richie. Please watch it for yourself and watch it with a open mind! The 1st season was recently on Netflix to stream. As one Dusk fan to another, the bad reviews on here in my opinion, are very misleading. I think the new cast was near perfectly picked out for the remake-series. I don't think Robert Rodriquez would do anything to hurt his gem of a movie. But in it's own right it is an amazing series. What it does is it takes a great movie and expands on that concept making it a more creative and fun series. I've heard reviews of people not liking this series (A lot say its not true to the original movie.) But i beg to differ. Unfortunately, the series appeared on "El Rey", a new channel that was only on certain cable services. When i heard of the TV series coming in 2014, I was more than excited to see where this will take me. "From Dusk Till Dawn" was arguably a perfect film. From the story to the characters, to the actors portraying the characters, to the script. In fact I loved everything about the first film. As in most cases the first entry was the best. Upon the release of "From Dusk Till Dawn" in 1996, it spawned 2 sequels.
